A delegation from Yantai Vocational College of Culture and Tourism embarked on a six-day educational cooperation and exchange trip to Italy and Spain on May 19.

Their first stop was the 475-year-old Dante Language School. After delving into the school's development, educational model, and faculty, both parties focused on the establishment of the "Sino-Italian Cultural Creative Joint Institute" and reached multiple agreements on Italian language teaching and training.

Next, they visited the Florence Tuscany ITS Tourism Foundation, where agreements were reached on exchange programs for tourism services, hotel reception, and other related professions, while discussions were held on cooperation details.

The delegation's itinerary covers nine cities in the two countries, where they will engage in cooperation discussions with several renowned European institutions in fields such as language education, art design, tourism management, and culinary culture.

In response to China's push to promote high-quality vocational education resources globally, Yantai Vocational College of Culture and Tourism has sent multiple groups of faculty and students to study overseas. Government officials, experts, and scholars from over 10 countries have visited the college, which has established mechanisms for teacher exchanges, student exchanges, cooperative education, and inter-school collaboration with institutions in 13 countries.

Furthermore, the college is actively promoting Shandong cuisine education internationally, standardizing Chinese culinary courses and promoting digitalized Shandong cuisine talent training standards in four countries. By regularly broadcasting the International Shandong Cuisine Lecture Hall online, it is contributing to the global dissemination of Shandong culinary skills and Chinese culture.
