Deployed at the Wucun Relic Site Forest Park, the robot combines advanced cleaning capabilities with environmentally friendly features, with a dust-suppression spray system to minimize secondary pollution.

The robot operates along six pre-set task routes, and can clean 4,500 meters of paths in a mere 4 to 5 hours. Its fully automated nature, devoid of human intervention, underscores its remarkable cleaning efficiency of over 10,000 square meters per hour — equivalent to the work of 6 to 8 sanitation workers.

"The robot uses cutting-edge technologies such as intelligent sensors, visual recognition, real-time navigation, and automatic obstacle avoidance," said Wu Jingqian, deputy general manager of EIT Environmental Development Group Co Ltd.

"It supports remote control and task resumption, helping shift sanitation workers from repetitive labor to roles in equipment management and landscape maintenance. It also reduces risks associated with extreme weather conditions," Wu added.

Director of the park's management office Li Jian noted, the robot has already improved cleanliness in public spaces. Looking ahead, Guangrao county's plans to expand the use of such smart equipment in urban squares, commercial areas, and residential neighborhoods.

The integration of smart equipment reflects Guangrao's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and livability — bringing technology to everyday life.
